Echo Point isn't named after any particular place. The title simply refers to the basic idea: melodies, rhythms, and fragments from the first few sections are echoing throughout the piece, bouncing off various kinds of surfaces, until they're lost in the haze of reverberation, in the final part of the piece. My first thoughts were about life and how certain decisions we make early on can resonate, echoing through the rest of our lives, sometimes very much in evidence, and at other times like secret undercurrents we uncover when it is too late. Echo Point is built this way.
